Although the summer is almost over, I cannot end it without sharing this super easy ice cream recipe. To make it different each time I add a few drops of lemon oil or orange, or if it is just for the adults a little bit of liquor (I am talking about a teaspoon tops and not a full glass :)).
No matter how one likes it, this is a simple, well deserved treat on a warm summer afternoon.
Enjoy it with a smile! 🙂
How to
- YIELD: 4 servings
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 500 ml (2 cups) whipping cream (38% fat)
- seeds from 1 vanilla pod
- melted chocolate to be used for coating (optional)
Directions:
Put all the ingredients in a bowl (except the melted chocolate) and whisk until the mixture is soft and has the consistency of a light cream. Divide the mixture in ice cream molds and freeze them.
If using the chocolate for coating, melt the chocolate a few minutes before serving and drizzle it over the ice cream sticks.
If not using the molds, pour the mixture into a box that can be stored in the freezer.
